Abstract:
There is the need for everyone everywhere to learn how to keep a good control of their temperament in the face of any type of provocation, no matter how severe such temptation may be. In the face of the present economic hardship, with the high cost of living reported across the nation, most members of the citizenry are emotionally challenged with plenty of anger and people temper ready to explode of the slightest touch and moments of unrestrained loss of control. Despite all of these moments of “madness”, of loss of personal control, we are admonished to remain calm and keep our heads above waters and not fall into the depth of anger which can lead to regret when the situation clears. Physician and all health workers are regarded globally as gentle, and who many person in the society look upon as mentors, and as role models. It will be morally damaging if such a highly esteemed person was seen violently arguing or worse engaged in a physical combat in a public place. He may lose the trust of the people that depends on his ability and his cool, calm headedness to diagnose and treat them adequately and professionally. Here we give an instance of when an unrecognized healthcare worker demonstrated a high sense of control and the result that emanated from his tolerance in the face of undue provocation.
